Can you offer one-to-one walks?
Yes. Unlike some dog walkers, all our walks are on a one to one basis so you can be sure of an individual service for your dog, and our full attention during the walk.
How long are the walks?
Our walks are usually 25 or 50 minutes, but can be tailored to suit your dog’s needs. For example, if your dog doesn't need a 50 minute walk, he can have a shorter walk and we can spend the rest of the time with him at home before we leave.
What area does York Walkies cover?
Primarily the west of York including Poppleton, Rawcliffe, South Bank, Holgate/Acomb and Tadcaster Road, but please contact me to discuss and I will let you know whether we cover the area where you live.
Can you feed my dog?
If you like we can feed your dog before we leave or can visit just to give him fresh food and water.
Where do you walk my dog?
Your dog will be walked in the area local to your home. The full time allocated for the walk will then be spent exercising rather than your dog being transported by car.
When can you help?
We aim to be flexible so please contact me to discuss your dog walking and pet visiting requirements.
Do I have to commit to a dog walk every day or can you be flexible?
Some people only want their dogs walked when they are on holiday or if they are going to be late home from work or are working certain shifts. We understand this and try to be flexible to meet your needs so that on those days when you can't be around for your dog, we can. We’re hope you will understand though that our first priority is to our regular clients.
